The white hen died….

Happy New year for all of you..

After coming home from a Christmas break, it was raining like hell in Monchique. The chicken were all in the henhouse except my favorite white hen. She was sitting in the mud, all wet and dirty.

I went up to her but she could not move and then I discovered that her breast was all open and infected. Clearly she had been attacked by an animal, a little fox or something like that.

I sat with her for a while on my lap, talking to her and gathering courage to do what was inevitable. I had to kill the only chick that was not afraid of me. Isn’t live strange?

I kill chicken for dinner with no problem but once we are attached, have a relation, the whole quality of this act changes.
I even shed some tears…

Bye bye white chick, happy heaven for you.

German dreams

Last night I dreamed and it was in the German language…
Is that a nightmare or what???

For  Dutch person it is a nightmare because since the II world War somebody planted some anti-German genes in our cheese head bodies. How do you get these genes out again?
I ask you because, in fact, I think that dreaming in a foreign language is  nice way of extending your borders and I don’t want it to be connected to a negative impression.
Probably some people tell me to start dreaming in another language like English or Chinese.

Chinese would be good because I have a Chinese doctor and she treated my infected tooth with acupuncture and smelly herbs and it results very good. The infection was there for more then three months and I kept in control with Ibuprofen because the dentist would take the tooth out or give a year’s ration of antibiotics.
This wonder doctor lives in the Algarve and I thank here.

Back to German. There is a cell biologist, Bruce Lipton, a very interesting person who claims that each of us activates the genes in our body, consciously or unconsciously. Look him up on the internet and ignore all the stupid genes.

If what he says is true then I should only decide to love all my German neighbors and it will work out fine. And what’s more, If that works for me and Germans, then it will work for Jews and Palestines, for Paquistani and Indians, for North and South Koreans.
Do I need to continue this list?

Vielen dank und auf wiedersehen.

My special Christmas Prayer

Just imagine.
Christ, Mohamed and Buddha robbed a bank. Well, you can say that there’s nothing new because during centuries crimes are being committed in their names.
The good news is they robbed a bank instead of stealing from the ordinary people.
But the best news is that they worked together……
Which something rare and precious in the spiritual world….

So my Christmas prayer is: S.O.S.

Come all together Buddhists, Muslims, Christians, Hindus and all the other religions take claim to spread universal love.
Come together and let’s rob the Latest God that is called his holiness Economy…
Let’s work together to save our dignity and survival as free beings.
Economy has no face, no eyes to look in and that is where we can see the soul of a being. It has hands and arms to strangle but no face, no soul.
So let’s work together and save our souls. S.O.S.

Only if we are willing to look each other in the eyes we can see the true value of life.

So help me God, ooopss

Reflections on Bananas

You know the expression "Bananas"?
It means saying that someone is cuckoo or crazy.

In Biosynthesis we consider a persons defense like a second skin, they need it in order to survive. Behind that second skin there can be something going on that is beautiful. It will appear at the right moment for that person, not when you want it but when the person is ready.

Why this story?
This morning I was looking at the banana tree in the rain, it's cold and wet and shaken by the wind. But these green little bananas they just hang there. They do not seem to care but inside the green skin there is something going on, growing, ripening. It takes them more then a year to become sweet and wonderful bananas and when they are ready their skin start to turn yellow. Like saying to the world, Now I am Ready!!!

I think it is not so bad to be bananas if that means respecting your rhythm, your pace and keeping your secrets until they are ready to be shown to the world.
You decide.................

and at least monkeys like bananas!

Take care of your garden,

Christmas presents

Today I decided to give an early christmas present to my roses in the garden.
Fresh cow dung, it's a lot of shit really.

But it was not easy, I had to climb a mountain to get to a place where a farmer has twenty cows. Next I had to shovel the shit in a wheelbarrel and transport it all the way down to the garden.
Going up the mountain was not too hard but going down with a load of cow shit on a slippery mud road isn't very easy. But I managed and now I know that the roses will bloom next spring.

Isn't funny that we have to give lots of shit for them to be happy and beautiful?

So what if we start to shovel our own metaphorical shit and give it as a Christmas present to the ones that deserve it. Can you see your rose in bloom?

Do we really have to work our shit to become beautiful people, or is that a lot of crap???

The field of intentionality

In Biosynthesis we work with the field of intentionality, this is something like the morphogenetic fields of Rupert Sheldrake. I had a nice conversation with our trainer Estela about this field. When I got home something interesting happened the next day......................

We have one rooster and 13 hens, one is white the rest is brown.

In the morning Manuela said, lets kill two hens today for a nice meal.
I said, okay, but we won't kill the white hen!

When I entered the henhouse all the chicken ran away, except the white one, she stayed close to me and did not show any sign of fear.
Then I caught two good chicks and we killed them.

A few hours later I noticed that the other brown chicken were becoming pale like their feathers were painted with aquarelle and it fades away in the rain.
I turned to Manuela and said, do you think I am getting delirious but she confirmed my observation. They were turning white, at least they were trying to.
I went to the henhouse and they all ran away except the white one, the white one knew that I did not have the intention to kill here and serve for supper.

I know some of you won't like this story because of me killing the girls but that's life.

What is interesting is that our intentions, conscious and unconscious are available for others to read and probably travel through space and time.

Now, its one month later and the chicken never recovered their beautiful brown colour.........

strange story but true

Welcome and Bem vindo

Hello dear visitor

Welcome to our Blog

I am Theo and I am from Holland, Manuela is from Portugal and we are setting up a training for Biosynthesis, a somatic psychotherapy, in the Algarve. (southern part of Portugal)
Biosynthesis is a third generation therapy that combines somatic, cognitive and spiritual aspects of the human being to reveal the persons essence. Next to therapy it is also a wonderful way to extend your personal development.
But I do not want to talk about Biosynthesis, we have a website and brochures for those that are interested.
(see http://www.crescimento.org)

I would like to talk about the strange things that happen in our lives, things that sometimes need an answer and sometimes only need to be shared because not everything has a clear answer.

First I want to give you a Haikai from a Japanse master called Masaoka Shiki (1867-1902)

rowing through
out of the mist
the wide sea

This Haikai I wrote on the card for my fathers funeral.
But it is good to realize that we do not have to die physically to embrace the greatness of life
it can also be a metaphorical death.

just breath in and open your eyes and see
Then close your eyes and exhale
how subtle death can be

Please feel free to react
